Introductory Post

It is important to understand that the technology is controlling our society. Electronics are presented by the media more then ever before. People buy things they do not even need because the technology is going hand in hand with the media presenting new technological developments every day. Technology is playing an important part in all aspects of our life and society. Our society has become more dependent on technology then ever before. As the media presents more technology and more technological developments take place, our society is going through changes, which are not always positive. They rather lead to an unclear future presented by media and ambiguity. Technology consists mainly on cyber parts such as robots and computers. However, there are also scientific technologies, for example nanotechnology and genetic technology.
The cyber part of technology is used in the most households and every-day life. Computer's and robots play an important role in the life of the 21st century human; in our society people can't imagine their lives without any technology anymore. Where does this whole electrical world come from, and why are we so addicted to it that we cannot live without it anymore? We are addicted not because these products are made but because they are presented. They are presented by the media in almost every part of our society, whether it is television, radio, internet or posters; technology is all around us and if we would not keep ourselves 'up to date' with the newest technology, for example, cars, cell phones, computers, mp3 player's etc..., we would not be a true part of the 'circle of life' that is greatly affected by technology nowadays. Therefore it is important to find out how much our society is controlled by technology.
